Will you get the allotment?

IPO Allotment Matrix helps investors estimate IPO allotment chances using live NSE subscription data across Retail, S-HNI and B-HNI investor categories — no manual entry required, the numbers update automatically while bidding is open. Browse every open, upcoming and recently closed Mainboard and SME IPO in one place, with a live subscription multiple and an estimated allotment chance for each investor category.

How IPO allotment works

When an IPO closes, applications in each investor category are pooled together. If total demand exceeds the shares reserved for that category, the registrar runs a computerised lottery so that, on average, out of every N applications, one gets the minimum lot — where N is that category's subscription multiple.

How allotment probability is calculated

We take the subscription multiple NSE publishes for each category and calculate 1 ÷ multiple as the rough odds of an application getting the minimum lot. A category subscribed 1× or less is effectively fully allotted; one subscribed 40× means roughly a 1-in-40 chance.

Retail, S-HNI and B-HNI allotment

Retail Individual Investors (RII) apply for up to ₹2 lakh and are usually the most subscribed category. S-HNI covers bids between ₹2 lakh and ₹10 lakh, and B-HNI covers bids above ₹10 lakh — each category's odds move independently based on its own subscription multiple.

IPO subscription and allotment status

Subscription numbers update through the bidding window as more applications come in, and can move quickly on the final day. All numbers on this site are pulled directly from NSE's public IPO data — we don't run our own survey or estimate, so if NSE hasn't updated a figure yet, neither have we. Once bidding closes, the registrar finalises the basis of allotment, typically within a day or two, and each IPO's page links straight to the correct registrar's allotment-status checker.

Mainboard and SME IPOs

This site tracks both Mainboard and SME issues, showing which board each IPO is listed on alongside its price band, bidding dates, and current subscription status, so you don't have to check multiple sources.
